In Memory

Mrs. Connie Hemen has joined her husband,
Loren, in enternal salvation. Losing her battle with cancer
with the grace and demeanor that she lived her life.
Her many accomplishments she would dismiss to being a wife
and mother to a family she held so dear. A special bond she shared
with her youngest daughter Jane is the love of all animals,
especially maltese.Our wedding gift in 1983 was a darling
female puppy, Miranda, the most beautiful puppy we could
imagine! Connie was never really impressed with the
pomposity of the dog show world. She loved all of them
equally and some that needed it ... a little more.
The Cherub line was her dream and shared vision with Jane,
and was a constant source of inspiration and hope of
what was to come. For Jane, seeing the development and progress
of her mother's bloodline of 30 years is a constant reminder
of Connie's dedication to her beloved Cherubs.
